Personal data (hereinafter referred to mostly as "data") is processed by us only to the extent necessary and for the purpose of providing a functional and user-friendly Internet presence, including its content and the services offered there. According to Art. 4 (1) of the Regulation (EU) 2016/679, i.e. the General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter referred to as "GDPR"), "processing" means any operation or set of operations which is performed on personal data, whether or not by automated means, such as collection, recording, organization, structuring, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, restriction, erasure or destruction.

With this privacy policy, we inform you in particular about the type, scope, purpose, duration, and legal basis of the processing of personal data, to the extent that we either alone or jointly with others decide on the purposes and means of processing. We also inform you below about the third-party components we use for optimization purposes and to increase the quality of use, to the extent that third parties process data in their own responsibility.

II. Rights of users and data subjectsWith regard to the data processing described in more detail below, users and data subjects have the right:

  • to confirmation of whether data concerning them is being processed, information about the data being processed, further information about the nature of the data processing, and copies of the data (see also Art. 15 GDPR);
  • to correct or complete incorrect or incomplete data (see also Art. 16 GDPR);
  • to the immediate deletion of data concerning them (see also Art. 17 GDPR), or, alternatively, if further processing is necessary as stipulated in Art. 17 (3) GDPR, to restrict said processing in accordance with Art. 18 GDPR;
  • to receive copies of the data concerning them and/or provided by them and to have the same transmitted to other providers/controllers (see also Art. 20 GDPR);
  • to file complaints with the supervisory authority if they believe that data concerning them is being processed by the controller in breach of data protection provisions (see also Art. 77 GDPR).

In addition, the controller is obliged to inform all recipients to whom it discloses data of any such corrections, deletions, or restrictions placed on processing the same per Art. 16, 17 (1), 18 GDPR. However, this obligation does not apply if such notification is impossible or involves a disproportionate effort. Nevertheless, users have a right to information about these recipients.

Likewise, under Art. 21 GDPR, users and data subjects have the right to object to the controller's future processing of their data pursuant to Art. 6 (1) lit. f) GDPR. In particular, an objection to data processing for the purpose of direct advertising is permissible.

III. Information on data processingYour data processed when using our website will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose for its storage ceases to apply, provided the deletion of the same is not in breach of any statutory storage obligations or unless otherwise stipulated below.

Contact inquiries/contact options:If you contact us via contact form or email, the data you provide will be used to process your inquiry. The provision of data is necessary for processing and answering your inquiry; without it, we may not be able to fully answer your inquiry or at all. The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6 (1) lit. b) GDPR. Your data will be deleted once your inquiry has been processed conclusively and provided that there are no legal storage obligations preventing the deletion, such as in the case of subsequent contract execution.

Server data:For technical reasons, especially to ensure a secure and stable website, data is transmitted through your internet browser to us or to our webspace provider. With these so-called server log files, the type and version of your internet browser, the operating system, the website from which you accessed our website (referrer URL), the website(s) of our website that you visit, the date and time of your access, and the IP address of the internet connection from which our website is accessed are collected. These data will be temporarily stored, but not in association with any other of your data. The basis for this storage is Art. 6 (1) lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the improvement, stability, functionality, and security of our website. The data will be deleted within seven days, unless continued storage is required for evidentiary purposes. In such cases, all or part of the data will be excluded from deletion until the investigation of the relevant incident is finally resolved.

Google Analytics:We use Google Analytics on our website. This is a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, hereinafter referred to as "Google." The legal basis for using this service is Art. 6 (1) lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the analysis, optimization, and economic operation of our website. Usage and user-related information, such as IP address, place, time, or frequency of your visits to our website, will be transmitted to a Google server in the United States and stored there. However, we use Google Analytics with the anonymization function. This means that Google will truncate your IP address within the European Union or the European Economic Area before transmission to the United States. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the United States and truncated there. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with any other data held by Google. Google will use this information on our behalf to evaluate the use of our website, to compile reports on website activity, and to provide us with other services related to website and internet usage. The IP address collected through Google Analytics will not be linked to other Google data. You can prevent the storage of cookies through your browser settings.
